“Is ISO Still Relevant?: A Closer Look at the Review Process and How it Remains Pertinent”

Program Summary:

It’s been nearly 10 years since ISO 9001 was last updated.  There have been a lot of changes over the last decade which prompts the question of whether the standard is still pertinent to today’s businesses.  The technical community has heard these concerns and is in the process of updating ISO 9001.  In this presentation we’ll take a deep dive into the review process to learn how ISO 9001 remains applicable.  We’ll look at the benefits of standards, how we review and update those standards and what to expect in the next revision.
